Ministries

Ministry is about bringing glory to Christ by serving God and serving people in his name. Sometimes ministry is structured and sometimes it isn’t— some of the best times happen as friends encourage each other in conversations over morning tea, or when people pray for each other on the phone, share a bible verse at homegroup supper, or drop in on with a meal for someone who is feeling stretched.

Here are our main areas of structured ministry:

Sunday Services

Our Sunday Services are the ‘main game’ of our life together, and many of our members serve us through music, morning teas, welcoming, preaching, leading, encouraging… etc. Our Services are designed to cater for people of all ages.

Kid’s Club

We love having our young people with us in church! During the sermon, our Kid Club provides a fun and exciting avenue for our young members to learn more about God and his great love for us in a format that they enjoy. From time to time, they keep the rest of the church up to speed by sharing what they are learning through Kid’s Spots and interviews. Kids club is for school age kids, and operates on Sundays during school terms. For information, contact the church office (office@rrac.org.au)

Homegroups

Homegroups are an important part of our church. It’s where members meet together, study God’s word and pray together. It’s where friendships are forged and people encourage each other through the thick and thin of life. Groups work best where there is a shared commitment to meeting regularly, so that trust and friendships have the best chance of developing. At the moment, we have evening groups and a daytime women’s group operating. For information, contact the church office (office@rrac.org.au)
